We went to the chapel, and we got married.

Hi everyone! My sister, Lindsay, has a blog that she updates about every week. Even though we're in the same city, it's fun to see the pictures she takes and get a little catch-up on things we haven't had the chance to talk about. Since Nelson's family is in Houston, Taiwan, Dallas, Hawaii, California, New Jersey, and Massachusetts; not to mention our many friends across the globe; I thought it would be fun to keep everyone posted on what we're up to!

First of all, thanks to all our family and friends for your love and support at the wedding! We had so much fun celebrating with all of you, and we hope that you enjoyed eating, drinking, and dancing the night away :) For those of you who weren't able to make it, here are a couple pictures from the wedding, including a sneak peak picture of the wedding party posted by Sharon Nicole Photography!

The entire wedding party.

Mother and Son.

The HCC group (and then some).

Two daughters down, zero to go.

Texas A&M Crew :)

Everyone looked like Aashish.

"Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy...."

Guess who caught the garter!

On Sunday, we had lunch at my mom's along with most of our family. After eating, Nelson and I opened all of our wedding presents and cards... which took over an hour! We are so appreciative of everyone's generosity, and are eager to start setting-up house (or at least I am!).

I was fortunate enough to be able to take Monday through Wednesday off, even though we don't leave on the honeymoon until Thursday. During this time, I have unpacked all of our wedding gifts (minus "decorative" items), almost completely moved into the house, organized closets and drawers, recorded all gifts in our wedding spreadsheet (yes, I married an Accountant), returned duplicates of gifts, closed loose ends on registries, returned some vendor items, ran errands, and had lunch with friends. It's month-end, so Nelson has been working a lot, but did research honeymoon excursions :) All that's left is to finish up laundry and pack!

We are super excited to leave on our honeymoon tomorrow! We land in San Juan, Puerto Rico, tomorrow night. After spending a couple days exploring the area, we board our Celebrity cruise. We'll go to five different islands total and, since we're already in the area for departure, there's only one day at sea (which is Nelson's least favorite). We haven't planned all of our excursions yet, but we have signed up for a canyoning tour in Dominica! At the other islands, we'll snorkel and probably hike to Seven Sister Falls, but we're definitely going to relax. I'll be sure to take a lot of pictures with the intention of posting them so y'all can be jealous :)

Again, thank you all for your love and support during this special time in mine and Nelson's lives. We wouldn't have had it any other way than to share it with y'all.

xoxo,
Holly and Nelson
